Why you need to embrace your insecurities

I think we've all had our fair share of not posting that specific picture because our flaws stand out. You may think that the picture looks good, but damn, that long nose is standing out, or you can see the flab on your back, or the eczema around your eyes.

I've always had to deal with my insecurities, especially when I've had to post a blog of myself or even posting a picture on Instagram. I'm glad that this blog is shared with my good friend but sometimes I've felt that even I should start getting involved and post pictures of myself, BUT I DON'T.

Sometimes we let our insecurities get the best of us but what would happen if we put our flaws out there for the world to see? Yes, maybe we will get a backlash of rude comments but maybe we will also be able to relate to so many other people.

Everyone is fighting their own battle and just revealing yours can help those who are on the same boat as you. I'm so thankful and glad that we have the plus-size community on Instagram because without them I wouldn't have realised that being on the plus-size is not a bad thing and you should flaunt what you have. You feel alone and scared but once you find your own community you realise there is nothing to be scared off.

I've also had insecurities of the Eczema around my eyes, posting little to no selfies because it would stand out. But here I am, showing you myself at the bare minimum and realising that I am just as beautiful as anyone else. I am human. I have a soul. And no exterior will define how I am on the interior.
