THIS POST COMES WITH HIGH ALERTNESS FOR ALL YOU WORKING ASSES.

I purchased Slender Blend from Superdrug's about three months ago. I was lucky to get it at the price of £13.32 as it was on offer and the original price was £19.99. The strange thing is that the offer is still on!
Mmm, like Slender Blend should really just put the original price as the offered price no?
I thought I would write this short blog post to give you an insight onto how I have found the product and whether it will be ideal for you to purchase. I mean, when I saw it I was like WOAH that girl on it is hot! And then I took a closer look and was even more impressed by the description and the leaflet showing these women on how much weight they've lost. Like, you can't even miss the bright yellow colour because the packaging is just so attractive.
How did it taste?
I bought the chocolate flavour leaving behind the vanilla and strawberry flavour. I have heard that the Vanilla flavour tastes the best and exactly like vanilla but I am more of a Chocolate fan so I tried this flavour. In terms of the taste, it tastes reallly good!
How is the mixture like?
Like I said, it tastes good, BUT only if you mix it well... The thing is, I hate how the mixture is. The protein shake starts to form lumps, almost like it is hard for it to dissolve (you can put it in anything, but I like to drink mine mixed with water). I actually HATE it, because you can't enjoy the protein properly.
When do you have it?
The Protein Shake actually comes with a small leaflet/guide which lets you know when you should have it. Personally, I believe them to have more effect straight after a workout because I have read an article about how during that period your body is synthesising protein. According to the leaflet, this protein shake is ideal for meal replacement. I have tried doing that and took the shake in the morning for 3 days and although it does fill you up it doesn't last and this is definitely not a breakfast which could leave me energised and feeling vibrant.
DOES IT WORK?!
YES but it could do so much better! This is only suitable for beginners and for people who want to try a protein shake at a cheaper price, but the quality isn't so good to give you drastic results as the other more expensive protein shakes can i.e. Standard Whey Protein (It's expensive, I've tried it before and the results are fast even with one spoon of the powder! Whereas when having Slender Blend you have to add in 4 spoons to make up for that 1 which also means that it is likely to run out faster!).
Can I trust the brand??
I had to put this question up considering that there is a major article out there questioning if the brand is honest. The issue was that the stated amount of carbohydrates in the shake was no where near how much there actually is. According to the article its 10 times more carbohydrates then the stated amount. Liars much?
Another thing to point out is how its advertised as a MEAL REPLACEMENT, but you would rather starve because it'd be no different. So this shake as a meal replacement is a NO NO from me.
