I don't want to rely on medications like Perfectil anymore

Okay, let get this straight. Perfectil Vitabiotics has taken the spotlight for the use for perfect skin, hair and nails. Like the product says, it has done so with the use of special ingredients.

Now, I won’t say that the product is not effective at all, it has been very effective. Many other reviews have been made and people who have benefitted have noticed the effects too! What I am going to point out is the downside to the product, and something that I realised during my time when I stopped taking Perfectil for a month.

The thing I first noticed (Literally, instantly) was how my period came the day after the first intake. Due to hormonal problems, I tend to miss my periods in between months. That worried me a little but I know that a lot of teenage girls tend to in between. Although i don't like periods myself, I really wish I had them regularly to know that I’m hormonally and also emotionally balanced. I also used the product because of my hair falling out problems, and not to forget the things that we teenagers go through such as acne.

My nails were also looking healthier by the day, stronger and grew more quickly. I believe there was a shine to them from what my mum has observed. It was just within the first two month period and she believed that the texture of my hair changed also, in the way that they were thicker.

What I didn’t like about the product was that I suffered breakouts.

I use a acne controlling cream overnight, Duac, and although it does not fix the roots of acne it keeps your skin clear of them through every night appliance. The breakout around both my cheek area’s were not easily controlled by the Duac cream like it usually works for me. The product Perfetil has now also left marks/acne scars behind on my skin.

I remember that during the two month usage, i was having regular periods and feeling good about myself because I had felt a lift in my inner spirit.

The thing is, I don’t know if it is a placebo but I felt like I had a glow and noticing little details kept my mood happy during the journey. That was until when I didn’t go to the store to buy another pack because truth be told i didn't have the time. The breakout had let me down also as there was no improvement in my skin instead it looked worse.

So, the things that I noticed while I took the “break” was that the second day straight my mood was completely off. I know that the day was the worst, I cannot comment on whether it was a coincidence (it may have been) but, I never had a day like I did then. There was irritation, confusion, annoyance and plain anger. I carried these emotions for the rest of the week as it faded.

While I had been talking to my friend, I remember mentioning to her how i'd need to get Perfectil because I feel like i'm in a terrible state. That’s when she pointed out to me that what i'm experiencing are perhaps withdrawal symptoms.

One thing you should know, is that any substance that comes along with withdrawal symptoms is usually because of the substance being addicting. This is where it gets bad, because it would mean that the product didn’t seem to be something that you can use for a while to complete a course (say three months as recommended to see effects), instead you would have to rely on taking it to benefit from its advantages.

I know that many people take medications and it has become part of their life, but from what i belive we didn't come into the world relying on drugs or medication. The use of them should only occur when you need them, but if it means to be living off from them unless you are dying you are in someway perhaps causing harm to your body. I am not a doctor but i know that if you can still survive then you shouldn't be messing with medications in the long run.

Some medications can have long term effects and what if by not letting your body work naturally you're causing even more risk? Meaning, its temporary not permanent.

There are many other ways to naturally be healthier, for example by staying under the sun if you are low in vitamin D. If you're living in a place where the weather sukcs then go on holidays. Eat the right food too, many fruits and vegetables provide the nutrients we need for the perfect growth of hair. Exercise, having a body enriched with oxygen will cause many organs to start functioning within your body and hormones would be on fleek. So you see, you don't need this drug if it isn't going to fix things for you in the long term.

I know the point doesn't sound so much of a deal as having that pill is so much easier than going and buying a lot of those fruits, but hey knowledge is always good. At the end of the day the choice is yours and it's up to you to weigh the pros and the cons.

Thank you for reading.
