After being Vegan for only 2 days, I realised that if I needed to get motivated enough to make this a lifestyle, I had to start making amazing and delicious food. I did research before hand and found this recipe which was made by a Youtuber called: CheapLazyVegan

Let me tell you in advance, this breakfast meal was one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. Not only that, it was also CRUELTY FREE!

So lets get straight on to how you can make this appetising breakfast.

Ingredients you'll need:

2 Slices of vegan bread

Soya Milk or any other dairy-free milk

A banana

Syrup or Vanilla extract (I used butterscotch syrup)

Cinnamon

Fruits of your choice

Step 1: Mash the Banana!

The first thing you'll need to do is mash the banana up. You can do this with a fork as mashing a banana isn't that hard.

Mash it to the point where it becomes a thick consistency.

Step 2: Add the sweetener of your choice ;)

In this step you would want to add the sweetener of your choice. I added butterscotch syrup. You can add any other syrup you want or you can even add 1-2 teaspoon of vanilla extract.

Step 3: MIX

Once you've added the sweetener of your choice you need to mix it all up! MIX IT PROPERLY!

Step 4: Add the milk of your choice

Here you can see that I added in Soya Milk to the mixture. You can add in other alternative vegan milk like Almond milk or Coconut Milk. It's totally up to you. If you're a non-vegan you can add in normal cow's milk.

Step 5: Add cinnamon powder and mix it up

Add in cinnamon, approximately 1 teaspoon. If you don't want to, you can skip this step and just mix the mixture up.

Step 6: Dipping the bread in the mixture

Now that the mixture is fully made you can get your bread and dip it both sides. Make sure that you don't wet the bread too much as it can break easily. You just want to dip it in the mixture so that it covers both sides of the bread.

Step 7: In the pan!

For the final step you need to get any pan and put it on top of a stove. Make sure it is on the lowest setting as I realised by myself that if you keep it on any other setting it ends up burning really quick. As soon as you've put the stove on, place the bread in the pan and let it sit there for around 3-4 minutes before flipping it over. You'll hear your bread sizzle while you enjoy the aroma of cinnamon and banana baking.

Last step!

Yes! The last step. In this final and last step, which is optional, you can add the topping of your choice. As seen in my picture, I added raspberries and blackberries on top of my french toast. You can add any other fruits or even vegan chocolate of your choice.

And there you have it. Your vegan french toast ready for your tummy to enjoy. Not only a healthy breakfast but also #crueltyfree.
