Raven, MUA's POUND Worth New Black Lipstick

I have been so excited to write this review!

Why wouldn't I be? Black lips are goals baby!!

Many can relate to me when i say that the the desire to own one of these babies started with Instagram. But, did you know that the price has been freaky?

To make things even worse, it is hard to spot a black lipsitick out in the stores. IT IS SO RARE WHERE I LIVE. They are either sold out, and if you get your hands on one the price isn't so friendly.

A pound, POUND was all that was needed to finally own one.

No other stores, or the companies have seen supplied them at such cheap price. In fact, whilst at Superdrugs (where this baby was discovered), i dont think i remember seeing black lipsticks under any section.

So i am guessing this a new product introduced by MUA, and there are many other famous brands who haven't even introduced this lip colour.

Strolling down the aisles at the Superdrug store me and my best friend found ourselves at the corner where cheap products are kept.

MUA, although does not have the same quality of higher brands such as, Rimmel- the product is a good starter and very affordable too. That is where we found the lipstick, and for a pound? We Just had to get it.

Why this lipstick under the MUA section found at Superdrugs is cheap? Let me explain.

Now, at the bottom i have clearly outlined the price and the Brand.

As you can see, most of the brands that supply the black coloured lipstick are unknown, and if you live in the UK the brands are American so would require shipping.

So looking at this, MUA's black lipstick has to be the cheapest. Although yes, the application of this lipstick has differences to the other brands, and the quality provided may not be so good either.

However, if you are the type to browse the cheap section, or need a black colour for only time being then this has to be it. Plus, screw it not having the same advantages as the other branded black lipsticks, this lipstick is still the colour black and would do the same job.

MUA is still a well known brand.

Oh, and not to forget that it is very hard to find a black lipstick and if there is one right infront of you on a shelf then why not take it? Rather than buying it from online without really getting to feel the product, it would just take a pound to give this product a chance.

Buying the lipstick online is also very costly as shipping is involved and a black lipstick is no way near priced a pound.

There are many ways you can change the texture of this lipstick too, and different ways to wear it and stand out.
