5 Reasons To Love Winter

We all have our favourite seasons, and we all have our favourite clothing too. Mine is winter, and ooooh turtle necks are the best. (Maybe enlighten me about yours in the comment section down below).

But did you know, something like loving a seasons clothing style actually exists too. The thing is, people can love a certain type of fashion based on the seasons and all sorts of reasons. The reasons can be from them being able to feel sexy in those skin tight jeans, to being able to finally wear their favourite coat because of their coat obsessions. You see, there are many reasons- believe me, even weird ones.

From what I have observed about winter and fashion is that there are 5 main reasons why you might just start to love this season.

1. No shaving hassles.

As cruel as comments can be, we all know that we don't give them a chance during winter, and we also save time and effort in shaving!!

But yes, I put this on top because it’s obvious (duh), but it is also in my opinion one of the best reasons to love winter. I mean, yeah it’s nice to be able to show your skin off but then shaving has never been as easy as those commercials tried to convince us. So yeah, because winter is about keeping cosy and some do still show their skin off, eventhough it may not be the best idea because gurrl you can look silly if you’re cold , fashion should be about comfort too after all. Anyways… I am losing the point. You save your self the time and effort when it comes to shaving during winter.

2. It’s your lazy season.

Believe me, I’ve researched so far on how the winters fashion is the laziest, well not exactly the fashion as truth be told there is alot of work behind the scenes to deliver the best products to you, but I mean we are more relaxed around winter when it comes to fashion and how we look from every angle. For example, how we worry about our body image in that hot summer bikini. With winter, however, you’re mostly covered. It’s that time around the year where you can treat yourself to those cookies, and perhaps not even worry so much about what you’re wearing underneath if it’s a stroll down the mall. All you can do is just throw a coat on, a good pair of chunky shoes and you’re ready to go.

This excludes some people who use winter to workout, but we all know that even with Christmas nearing it gets hard to resist on those cookies.

3. Coats aren’t just coats.

Just think about that statement. As well as being long and cosy, coats aren't as boring now with the range of variety because of the vast numbers of growing designers. Coats aren’t just there to keep you warm, you can really rock that winter showing off your style when it looks so great. It’s just about picking out the right coat during your post winter shopping, and trust me a coat is very essential and plays a key part to the fashion during winter. You know what I mean? A winter is not a winter without a coat.

4. No "perfect hair" worries.

You don’t have to worry about that perfect hair when it comes to winter, we are all under the same weather of a bad-hair-day-covered-in snow/mist. I’m sure you get that. Plus, many usually tie their hair up and hair can look really cute in buns or even pretty when they are messy under that beanie/hat. They do after all, (unless you're a supermodel with the perfect hair) can get very messy when you’re styling your hair up with a hat, cap, hoodie or whatever you decide to wear.

5. Cooler and warmer inventions.

I think there are also many new inventions introduced that look really cool, and hey they are warm at the same time too (pun intended). Like coats have always been made to be warm, but there are other products that have also been invented to make you more warm where the designers have particularly focused on the materials, the design, different and new ways to wear. The reasons to love this reason (hehe) is because now you can find the cutest sweaters or scarfs of more variety and styles and they are all warm. This should be a good enough reason for winter to not be boring when it comes to fashion. A example I would really like to point out is the infinity scarf. The design is spectacular, looks just so faboulous on top of coats that it’s literally become one the best accessories for winter, and guess what? Your neck cannot get any more warmer without one.

So you see, when clothes can be that warm, make you feel comfortable in your skin, and can look just really wow at the same time then you have no reason to not like winter. I think winter is exciting, and the fashion just makes you love it even more.
